In the Red

August 27, 2007 by collsgarden

red pepper

I am actually having some of my green bell peppers turn red this year. This doesn’t happen every year as our growing season is just too darn short. I know peppers like to be hot.. maybe the extreme heat we had in July gave them that extra boost.. cause I have a few beauties that are turning a lovely shade of red. The more red they are.. the sweeter they are.

red tomato

My tomatoes are also turning red.. but still have many that are green.

post note: bought a suet cake, “Peanut Butter n’ Jelly” for the bird feeder.
