Pulling Up the Garden

After a week of unseasonably cold and grey days, the sun has returned. I spent much of the afternoon pulling up my vegetable garden. All that remain for another day, are my beets.

I’m not quite ready to tear everything out yet. Did clean up the corn, peas, and beans. I always have mixed feelings at the end of the season….I’m sorta ready for a break from constant watering and tending….but on the other hand, do NOT want the cold weather and no flowers.
